At the Gates of Heaven

When I pass on, I believe that I will be able to head right up to At the Gates of Heaven Cabaret.  At this very special place, I will hang around and catch up with those I have known, cared about, loved who made it there before me.  It will be a happy time of reunion and whooping it up, until it’s time for me to head out again.

As for those I care about who actually left there and went on through the Gates of Heaven and thus will not be passing this way again?  Or those dear ones who headed out to other adventures before I got there?  Perhaps they have been kind enough to leave a message for me with the bartender — or maybe they’ve left behind a scribbled message or doodle for me in the big old unattended reservation book by the door.

Maybe I’ll see you there!  Well — but let’s not make it very soon, huh?!

Meantime, here we get to enjoy the caliber of extraordinary talent who may be doing a gig there At the Gates of Heaven Cabaret.
